The International Judo Federation (IJF) once more brings the world of judo to life on the popular gaming platform Minecraft. After its successful campaign “The Mystery of the Budokan” during the 2020 Olympic Games in Tokyo, the IJF returns with a new adventure – “The Mystery of the Kodokan”. In this immersive experience, players learn about the story of judo’s founder and the values of the world’s most educational sport.
In “The Mystery of the Kodokan,” players embark on a journey to the birthplace of judo and uncover the secrets of the Kodokan. After completing all the in-game objectives, players unlock the exclusive reward — a custom Minecraft judo suit skin.
The Mystery of the Kodokan was a great way for the International Judo Federation (IJF) to reach new audiences and engage with the gaming community. The success of this campaign was just the beginning, as the IJF will continue to bring the “Mystery of Judo” to Minecraft players over the next four years leading up to the 2024 Olympic Games in Paris.
